Northern Region and Ingham Squash reserves the right to move or cancel this event should there be the need due to the Covid-19 pandemic or other unforeseen circumstances. We will need to follow the Centre's Covid-19 Safe Plan.

The 1st Northern Region Junior Qualifier, the 2021 Ingham Junior Squash Championships, will be hosted at the Ingham Squash Club on the 16th & 17th October 2021.
2021 Ingham Junior Squash Championships is a Bronze regional junior tournament.

Players need to compete in Townsville (compulsory) and either Ingham, Mackey or Cairns tournaments to be eligible for selection on the Northern Region Redbacks team, which will compete in the Queensland regional teams event at the 2022 Queensland Junior Championships (QJC).

Games may be scheduled for Friday evening for available players. Otherwise players are expected to be available between 8:30 am and 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday except with prior approval.

The Ingham Junior Squash Championships will commence at 8.30am sharp on both days. Players are to be present and checked in with Tournament Control 30 MINUTES before the scheduled time of their match. Game scheduling is an estimate of game times. Please be aware we will be "following on".

The tournament promises to be a fun event for all junior players.

This Northern Region Tournament include:
1) Divisions Event.
2) Doubles (for experienced Players only as practice for the QJC teams event).

ENTRY FEES:
TO BE PAID ON SATURDAY DURING CHECK IN
Divisions Entry Fee - $55
Doubles (for experienced Players only for practice for the QJC team event) - $10
3 Matches minimum.
PAYMENT IN CASH ON THE FIRST DAY OF COMPETITION PRIOR TO PLAYING, AT CHECKIN.

SQUASH QUEENSLAND AFFILIATION

EYEWARE
Protective Eyewear, (Regulation 13 - Protective Eyewear Policy, Squash Australia).
"Any Australian player who satisfies the Squash Australia age eligibility for 19 years and all younger age groups is required to wear eyewear when playing in domestic or international tournaments or competitions"
Doubles: "Protective eyewear must be worn by all players (junior or senior) when playing in doubles competition / tournaments"

MOUTH GUARD - Must be worn by all u13 players during the doubles.
