  • 8th Aug, 2021 - The Grand Prix is a 4-day tournament so there will be matches scheduled for Monday - due to rain forecast we are allowing you a choice if you would like to finish your matches still today, please let us know. This could result in playing more than 2 single matches today.  It will be subject to time and court availability.  Email your request ASAP to tielman.meyer69@gmail.com 

  • 7th Aug, 2021 - Good day   Please note that the Girls doubles 16, Girls doubles 14, Womens doubles and Boys doubles 16 will not be playing on Saturday 07 August. Their doubles will be start on Sunday 08 August.   Many thanks

  Overall Experience
Must admit, I was very disappointed in the level of organizing and communication with this event. We played only 1 match on Friday. We arrived at the courts on Saturday, did our warm-ups and then only told we are not playing today. The times were not updated on the website Friday evening even with TSA having a rule it must be done before 20:00 that evening! The Saturday the schedules was still not updated and was only available 23:30 the Saturday evening. Now suddenly we have nearly all our matches on the Sunday. The club was also not available from Saturday 13:00 so a complete half a day was wasted were matches could have been played.

The cost for this weekend:
• Taking kids out of school for a full day
• 1 day leave from work
• Driving cost to George
• Accommodation

All that for not even playing on the Saturday.

We had to drive 100 km everyday from George to Mosellbay and back , which was out of my budget and I am not part of their politics but do feel I was hard done financially.
